Chapter 12 ~ Bromance

 Welcome back (after a looong time) to the Fish family legacy to witness Ramon drink the special potion.

 "Oh this feels ticklish," giggled Ramon.

 "This is so exciting!" Pazia enthused. She couldn't contain her excitement.

Wait what if he and Jayden don't get along? Pazia thought while Ramon was transforming.

 And out from the bubbles and sparkles a friendly face emerged.

 And so the evil friends plotted some stuff to do.

 And as they were laughing away, Jayden wandered into the living room. (In his underwear because he moved in)

"Uhm Pazia, who's that?" Jayden questioned while motioning to Ramon.

"Jayden! I'm so glad you see him! It's Ramon, my imaginary friend turned real!" Pazia said in one big breath.

"Really? This is him? Well that's uh...Pretty cool."


And all this time I thought my girlfriend was crazy. But here he is, this Ramon guy. Guess I should cancel the therapist...

And soon a conversation between Pazia and Ramon turned into Jayden and Ramon making a new friends. They got along way better than Pazia had expected.

"Hahaha dude you have to let me show you around town," said Jayden, "I'm self-employed as a writer anyways."

"That sounds cool, Pazia you coming?" Ramon asked.
"Well actually I'd love to but I can't I have a job interview." Pazia replied.
"Ah that's too bad, good luck." And Jayden kissed Pazia and they left.

Meanwhile a certain someone was found pregnant again...

Meanwhile at the art gallery...
"So Pazia told me you like art, this cool? I'm not much of an artist."
"Eh it's alright, hey I saw this sign. It read Twinbrook Guym, sounds like it's for guys. Can we check it out?" Ramon said while still silently mouthing the word Guym.
"Guym? You mean gym right? Well let's go then," Jayden said shooting Ramon an awkward look.

And back at home while Pazia checked the mail she started thinking...


Wait! The interview isn't even until four... What the heck am I supposed to do all day? Maybe I should find the guys.. No they could be anywhere and they might think I'm being clingy. Am I clingy? Well Mom and Dad are still home....

"Hey Pazy me and your mom are going out for today. That okay?"


Great, home alone. Maybe I should just go into town as well.

 So she went into town and tried to strike up a conversation in an attempt to make some friends but unfortunately it didn't go so smoothly.

To add to her failure Aurelie showed up a little later.
"Ha what are you doing here? Failing to make friends I see," Aurelie chided.

"You know what Aurelie, my day isn't going so well so I suggest you just shut up and go home before I beat you," Pazia snapped. She wasn't in the mood to listen to Aurelie's nonsense.

"So Jayden what do you call this walk machine again?" Ramon asked curiously, clearly fascinated by how the treadmill worked.
"It's a treadmill, it lets you jog with actually going anywhere."

"Argh Jayden this devil machine wants me to fall!"

Birthday time!! In the consignment store...

And due to unknown circumstances Alec's hair is spazzing for elders so now he sports this hair. Doesn't he look like Jay Winters from The Winters Legacy that Nayana writes?

Alec also retired from his level 10 military position.

Woooo!

Later they also headed fishing.
Jayden softly sighed. "Oh sorry did I fart again? It's kinda fun,"
"Uh no Ramon, it's just nice to get away with everything and relax,' Jayden replied.
"Including Pazia?" Ramon asked "Don't you love her?"
"Yeah I do, just she's a bit clingy sometimes."

"Jayden, JAYDEN! I THINK I'VE GOT SOMETHING!!"
"Uhm okay, just uh reel and don't let go of that pole," Jayden rambled, stumped that Ramon was going to catch something before him.

"It's a, a... Nothing! It's flippin nothing, NOTHING! WHY!?!"
"Whoa there now, patience is needed for fishing Ramon."

I'm sure the guys are having fun, no need to check on them nooo. Pazia thought as she ate... pet chicken food...

I wonder if they miss me? I sure miss them...

Around four she went for her job interview.
I wonder why they even have job interviews for the criminal career, are they testing your baddness or something?

"Oopsies, Jayden I dropped a..."
"What?"
"No no. It's nothing."

I guess I can just scoop it up. I love this five second rule, or was it three?

Some days later...
"Aurelie, are you pregnant... again?" Annie asked.
"Uhm yeah mom, for a while now...What did you think?"
"Oh nothing, I just thought you were getting fat..."

"So Trevor what are you thinking about naming the baby?"

"WE'RE HAVING A BABY?!"

Seriously...? Again..

"Yes Trevor, for a while now. I wasn't just getting fat."
"Oh, right, heh."

"In fact.. THE BABY IS COMING!" Aurelie yelled while going into labour.
"AHHH! Let's go to the hospital."

And thus Parker Martinez was born.

This is Parker aging up, into a girl hair. This happens like all the time...

But I fixed him up.

Ah, what a sweet little family...

But I guess they had other plans and moved out. Bye!

Downstairs with the guys still not back Pazia decided to try reconnect with old friends.

"Hi! It's Pazia, remember me? We went to school together? No?.. Okay bye."

It's okay, it's okay. They'll be back any minute now.. any minute. They're just having fun.. without me...

She decided to go to sleep later but was awakened by Rina's crying.

Ugh, this is the third time now. What does it's want? I put it to sleep and changed it. What now?

Where the hell is Aurelie, can't she hear? No, her snoring is too loud. How does she bear with kids.

I don't want kids. Too much work. Well it's not smelly.. maybe it's hungry.

Okay, now have your green stuff and shut up.

 But later, to Pazia's convenience Rina aged up a little later.

Pazia decided to go sit outside and wait, she couldn't go back to sleep and there wasn't much to do.

They'll be back soon. It's not like they ran away or anything. What would they run away from anyways?It wouldn't be me right? Maybe. It might be me. Am I too mean. Clingy? But they're my only friends. Oh no, I must be annoying...

Wanting to take a break from her constant worries she decided to fetch a cup of coffee.

This has not been a very nice day...

And as Pazia was drinking her coffee she heard footsteps and laughing at the door.

She walked over and found Jayden and Ramon home and laughing hard.

Looks like they had fun. Well I haven't.

"Where the hell have you guys been!?" Pazia shouted angrily, "you know what time it is?"

"I'm sorry Pazia, don't be mad. We just got caught up and forgot the time," Jayden quickly replied, "we didn't mean to come back so late."

"Well I'm glad you guys had fun while I sat at home worried sick!"
"I'm really sorry, come with us next time." Jayden replied, then they all went to bed.

The next morning remembering what Jayden said about joining them Pazia attempted to try at least.

"So guys.. what are you doing?" Pazia asked, still tired from her lack or sleep.
"Playin' video games, wanna play?" Ramon replied, handing her an extra controller.

She sat down and joined the game but soon realised that video games weren't her thing.

"Argh this thing... what the? Jayden did you just shoot me?"

Ugh... this is hard. *Door shuts* Wait did Jay and Ray leave? Jay and Ray? I'm already mentally using the pet names they gave each other. This is weird. Why am I even working out? Oh yeah, Aurelie left with her money, mom and dad are retired and Jayden's not writing at the moment. All up to me now...

Feeling lonely she seeked the company of her parents but when she saw them downstairs she felt even more alone.

I remember when Jayden gave me flowers when we were teens. On that bridge just outside Twinbrook.

Only the new butler served to be some sort of company.

Day in and day out weeks had gone by. Ramon and Jayden were best friends and Pazia was feeling left out only meeting around mealtimes.

And their relationship had somewhat died down. They never did a lot together or talked, just a hello and basic chat.

Often at night Pazia would sit in the dark and think.

It's been weeks now. Hey Pazia! We're going now. Enough now. This isn't fun anymore. This relationship isn't fun anymore. What if Jayden leaves. What will I do? I don't want him to leave. I must save this relationship, but what does he want?

And it was then when she remembered finding Jayden staring at the crib one day...

Oh no... But to save the relationship..

So she cosed up to Jayden the next few day in an desperate attempt to revive their love.

Sometimes it was a romantic dinner or a hot tub rendezvous.

"Hey babe, I was thinking maybe today we could see a movie or something," suggested Pazia.
"That sounds..." Jayden started to say.

"Heeey Jay! So about my makeover? We going or what?" Ramon interrupted.

Makeovers? What? I was talking. This is like Aurelie all over again... Not this time...

"Are you serious? Makeovers? Jayden you promised..."
"Yes yes I know but .."
"But nothing Jayden, I haven't spent time with you for weeks now and your leaving me again?" Pazia was freaking out.

Flushed with anger she turned on Ramon.

"And you, why are you still dragging him everywhere. It's been enough time to see every blade of grass in Twinbrook. What more is there?"

Ramon, also sharing an evil trait and not going to stand being yelled at responded.

"Hey, I'm still new to the world. It's your fault you don't want to come or something. You bought me here anyways."

"Still new? Ramon you've been here for more than a month now. New was three weeks ago. I haven't seen either of you for that time. You know what it's like for me?"

"You know what, you should just stop being so clingy and consider other people for a change. You know what Jayden said to me on the first day? He said he was glad to have a break from you."

And there it was. Everything that she was dreading. Someone thought she was clingy and Jayden was glad to have a break from her. Ramon's words stung like salt on an open wound.

"Fine, theres the door. Leave."

And with that instruction he turned around and left.

Is Ramon gone forever? Where will he go? What will Jayden say when he finds out? Is the relationship going to be better or worse? What will happen next in the Fish Family Legacy?
