What just happened? I did not just do that... Crap Pazia look what you've gotten yourself into. Jayden cannot find out, not yet anyways...
Quickly Pazia ran outside to see if she could still bring Ramon back. But it was too late...
He's gone, time for plan B.
[Side note: Let's play a game called Spot the Ramon in this picture. I promise you he's inside it but you have to be a super ninja to see him]
And somewhere on a small hill stood a sad imaginary friend gazing at the house he once belonged to.
"Hmmmm," Jayden sighed as he stretched his arms.
I guess Ramon doesn't want to go to the stylist anymore, it's way past the appointment time and he hasn't called me to go. Oh well bed time."
As he walked in he found a newly made-over room and Pazia waiting for him. I think you can guess what happened next.
Hint hint.
And since I think it's safe to say that Pazia is the new heir so with a new heir comes a new fish.
Goooooldfish tiiime!
"So Pazia have you seen Ramon anywhere? I haven't seen him around." Jayden said as they were eating breakfast.
"Uhm no, I haven't actually. Maybe... maybe he's taken off," Pazia said as she quicky stood up to go to work, "Unpredictable that guy."
Meanwhile in the fire station where he spent the night, Ramon was very nervous for his first day alone.
I think I should just call Jayden. No, then he'll flip out and be mad at Pazia. But this is her fault. But it's also mine... No I won't call them. If he flips out, she flips out, everyone is mad, it'll be my fault and Pazia will blame me ....
So he headed out and eyeballed the nearby fruit stand as his stomach grumbled.
And as he walked toward the entrance to try see if he could buy anything he saw Jayden walk out.
Jayden! Oh I'm so glad to see him! No wait, I have to run, he can't see me...
And so Ramon turned around and ran but it was too late. Jayden had already seen him.
"Hey wait! Ramon stop running!" Jayden yelled as he ran to catch up.
And pretty soon Jayden caught up being the quicker of the two.
"Hey, where have you been this past day?"
"I've been.. around," Ramon replied with a frown.
"Okay then, c'mon let's go home."
"No, I can't go home with you."
"What? Why?"
"Because.. because. Because I just can't" Ramon said planting his head into his hand.
"Because what Ramon, you can tell me." Jayden cooed.
"Pazia, she sent me out..."
"What!? Pazia sent you out? Like banished you from the house? Is that what you're saying"
"Please don't get mad," Ramon pleaded, "Can we sit down?"
"Alright, let's go over there."
As they sat down there was a long awkward silence.
I can't believe Pazia would do something like that. And she didn't even tell me!
And finally Ramon broke the silence.
"So what are you going to do with Pazia?"
"I really don't know Ramon. I might break up with her..."
"Don't! Don't break up with her, she's just a bit paranoid. Just don't"
"But you don't get it. If it's not one thing it's the next. She overeacts and does all sorts of things without thinking."
"I know, I know. You know back when we were still kids her sister Aurelie always used to cut her off from her parents. Maybe she just felt like I was doing that with you."
"I know all about that but it's ridiculous. That was the past and I think she should get over it instead of being so paranoid about everything."
"She can't help it. So what now?" Ramon asked.
"I think I'm just going to say nothing, just wait for her to tell me. If she ever will. Then we'll see."
"I see," said Ramon, disappointed about how things came out, "It's getting late now so I'm going to go and you better get back to Pazia, and promise me you'll give her another chance."
"Okay but wait, before you go here are some things you might need."
"And remember, call me when you need me."
And then Ramon left.
"Ramon!" Jayden called, "Where are you going?"
"I don't know, just going," replied Ramon.
Back at home things were already getting better for Pazia. Without Ramon Jayden was around 24/7 like before, and she liked that.
"Jayden, did you have a good day today?" she asked
"Uhm yeah, it was rather interesting," Jayden said, putting some stress onto the word interesting, "Did you do anything interesting these past days?"
"No, not really, but I've been having some good days lately."
And indeed her days had been quite good except for the time she got arrested...
But apart from that all was well.
"I never get these shows, why is someone always crying? And that strange kid. Kids are weird" Pazia said one day as they watched tv.
"They're just happy Pazia, weddings are very emotional." Jayden said smiling.
"Well I guess they are, but I'm not sure if I'll cry at my wedding, or have any kids there" Pazia answered.
"Really? Would you ever want kids?"
Detecting the seriousness in Jayden's voice she replied "Yeah sure, kids are cool."
Kids are cool? That was lame... Pazia thought to herself.
As the days past not only did Pazia relax a little but she also became a nicer person. She often found herself socializing with others in clubs and around town.
For the first time she could walk on the street and someone would call out Hi Pazia! Soon she had made some friends and once in a while they'd gather at her house for some girl time.
And her friends were Jenna and Jami, her bestfriend when she was a teenager and Jayden's older sister.
"So how are things going with you and Jayden?" asked Jami.
"Well yeah you know, same old same old, but it's getting better." Pazia replied.
"But sometimes I'm so confused. I sometimes wonder why Jayden is still with me. Not that I don't want him to be but I wonder. What does he really want?"
"I think Jayden want's to have his own family," Jami said in a wise older sister tone, "Don't you think so Jenna?"
"Awww little Jayden-Pazia babies!" Jenna squealed. "How sweet!"
"Babies, ugh we were talking about them just now."
"You don't want babies?" Jenna said in her strange squeaky voice.
"Well, no, yes. It's complicated."
After some chat Jenna went home leaving Jami and Pazia.
"Jami, you know about the whole Ra-.. Rainbow thing right? Have you found anything as to where he might be?"
"Ah well you bet I have, that guy is not a very easy guy to find but I found him."
"He's generally been roaming around for accomondation but he's recently found a small house on the outskirts of Twinbrook, somewhere near your grandparent's first house actually," Jami proudly exclaimed, obviously proud of her findings.
"Shhh keep it down Jami!" Pazia hissed, "Jayden is in the next room writing," as she pointed toward study.
"Has he made any plans to maybe move out the town? Anything like that?"
"Nope not yet, but I still think you should just tell Jayden."
Pazia sighed, "Yeah I should, but I'm scared he'll break up with me or something."
"Don't be ridicoulous, I've known Jayden all my life so I know what he wants. He wants to settle down, have kids and grow old, so far you're the only one who can make that happen."
And with that bit of news Pazia was relieved.
In the other room Jayden carried on typing. He had been listening to the conversation but only the parts about Raymon, not any of the other parts.
So you tell Jami but not me.
The next day, hoping he could squeeze some of the truth Jayden said "I really miss Ramon, don't you? He's been gone for a while now. You think we should ask Jami to file a missing person report?"
"Uh what? Raymon? No you don't have to do that. I've already asked her, she said he's moved towns. Sad that he'd just leave without saying goodbye."
He's asking about him. Not good not good must distract him.
"I think you've been too stressed out, maybe it's time for a break."
So yeah hot tub time.
Yeah.
Then...
I think the butler should be fired. Cooking bad food. Blegh. I think I should see a doctor.
But why go to the doctor when you call the finest doctor around Mom.
"Hey mom! I was wondering, do you have any medication for stomach aches after bad food?"
"Yes dear I do, but they're upstairs. I'll go fetch them."
"But first, bad food? I had the same food as you and I'm feeling fine. Can you please explain your symptoms?"
"Umm sure, just nauseous sometimes and I threw up once."
"Stomach pains? Anything like that?"
"Not really, just dizzy."
"Honey, that doesn't sound like bad food... That sounds a bit like a baby to me!" Annie exclaimed as she hugged Pazia.
"What? Really? A baby?" Pazia said trying to sound happy, "But what if it's bad food?"
"Oh don't fuss, you'll know for sure in three or so days I guess."
Please, please, please, please tell me I'm not pregnant.
And outside work she did a litle extra reading.
Uhm okay here we go. Morning sickness, nausea and vomiting. Snap. I should tell Jayden, but first about Ramon. I think it's time I told him that.
Just going to tell him Pazia thought
Just going to ask her Jayden thought
"There's something I want to tell you," Pazia started to say.
"Yeah? Me too, you go first."
"I, I ... got a promotion today."
"Oh really, that's great."
Argh, I'm such a coward...
"Now I have something to say. WHY DID YOU SEND RAMON AWAY!?"
"H-How did you..? I didn't mean to. I was going to tell you, I swear."
"When exactly were you going to tell me Pazia?"
"Now."
"Now? It's a little to late now," Jayden yelled, "Just exactly how long do you think this would go on without me knowing?"
"Relax I was just trying to... do what I thought was best. Ramon was coming between us and I wanted it to stop. I really was going to tell you."
"Ramon was coming between us? Pazia, he's the reason I didn't break up with you the moment I found out. We could have talked about this. When were you going to tell me? I heard you talk to Jami about this so she knows and you never bothered to even say something to me. You lied to me Pazia."
"I wasn't lying! I was just trying to do what's right! You spied on us! So you heard Jami, he's doing fine, and we were doing fine too!"
"Pazia, living is some little shack isn't fine. The point is you never told me, you kept the truth from me. You weren't lying but you weren't completely honest. We could have just talked but no you went and sent my best friend away. Are you happy now? We're fighting. Hooray."
Pazia knew she had been defeated. Jayden was right. They could have talked about this and now they were fighting. This was her fault.
"I'm so sorry Jayden. I shouldn't have done that. I hope you'll forgive me. I'll be better. I promise."
Jayden sighed. "I know you're sorry, I forgive you, but I think it's about time we spent some... time apart from each other."
"No wait! You can't go!" Pazia yelled as Jayden turned to leave.
"And why not?" Jayden said as he stopped to listen.
"Because I, I'm, I might be..."
"Might be what?"
"Pregnant. I might be pregnant."
I really hope that's enough to keep him around.
"Really?" was all Jayden said as he turned around and walked back to Pazia.
"100% truth. We're going to be a family." Pazia said softly as Jayden hugged her.
Oh Dear Lord please, please, please, please, PLEASE tell me I'm pregnant.
Where is Ramon now? Is Pazia really pregnant? What if she is? What if she isn't? Where's Ramon is that picture? What's going to happen next in the Fish Family Legacy?
