Chapter 16 ~ Big sister returns

 "What are you doing? What's going on here?"

 "Well I guess I'm pregnant. Can I come in?"
"What? No, not until you tell me what's going on."

But Aurelie went in anyways.

 "So are you going to tell me what you're doing here at this hour?" Pazia demanded.

 "OK long story short I need a place to stay."

 "And why?"

 "Ok here's the long story. Trevor and I are having a little dispute so we decided to separate for a bit, so I came here. Please let me stay."
"You're seperated and you're having his baby now?" Pazia asked, very confused.

 "Yeah a bit of an unexpected surprise. I'm not sure how I'm going to tell him."

Pazia had never really ever felt sorry for her sister, but this stirred something inside her because she remembered how Jayden almost left once.

"Fine," Pazia sighed, "But only if you stay out in that cottage in the back."

 "You mean the cottage with the overgrown everything? There's no kitchen in there."
"Then you can come for meals and stuff, I guess."

 And as Pazia sat down little Alfie plodded into the room.

"Aww who is this little cutie? Is he yours Pazia?" Aurelie squealed.
"Uh his name is Alford, and yeah he's mine."

 "Mommy! I'm hungry." Alford said then turning to Aurelie, "Rat? Rat!"

 "Rat? I'm guessing you taught him that." Aurelie said, obviously peeved.
"Hehe yeah using a prom picture. Yes Alfie that's right, it's rat."

 And just then Jayden walked in.

"Hey Paze have you seen Alfie, I let him out for a while but now he's.."

 "Oh Aurelie, hello. What a ... well this is awkward."

 "It's ok Jayden, I'll explain tomorrow, I'm going to put Alfie to bed now. Goodnight."

 The next day Aurelie woke up in the cottage in some weird sleepwear.

 And after lunch...

"Hey Pazia can I hang around the house and clean up some stuff? And watch Alfie when you're at work?"
"Oh yeah sure." Pazia replied, surprised by how nice Aurelie was being.

 This is great, free maid and babysitter, but does she think I only have one kid. Pah she'll find out later.

 And then she went to work and wouldn't be back til the next morning.

 And Aurelie decided to use that time to just look around the house and see what's changed.

Whoa whoa whoa what? Three kids? Triplets? ... Someones been a busy girl.

 And she visited the main bedroom and found Jayden just waking up.

 "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here."

 "Uh it's ok."

Mm mm mmm Pazia has herself a nice one here. I wonder if he's happy here, if not, there's always plenty of fish in the sea.

 And later she found herself talking to Jayden again.

"So how is living in this mad house?"

 "It must get pretty hectic around here right?" Aurelie asked.
"Yeah but it's good here."

 "So you've stayed here for a while now, so you must know Pazia even better than I do, how is she?"

 "What do you mean?"
"Oh you know, is she ok, is she annoying, does she make you want to run away forever or what?"

 "She's fine."
"Really? Just fine? Doesn't she ever overreact over small things?"
"Well yeah but I've gotten used to it now."

 "Well we did have a fight before the kids were born but it's alright now."

 "Hmm I see, must be crazy married to her."

 "Married? We're not married yet actually."
"Oh really? Then it's not to late to run away." Aurelie replied jokingly.

And run to the right woman.

 "But you guys are going to get married right? Or have you thought of someone else more suitable for that?"

 And before Jayden could answer that question Pazia walked in.

"Hello, what are you guys up to?" Pazia said sounding uneasy.
"Oh Jayden and I were getting to know each other. Right Jayden?" Aurelie replied in the strangest of tones. 
"Uh yeah."

 What is Aurelie up to now?

 "What do you suppose Aurelie meant by 'getting to know each other' Cato? Why did she say it so weird?"
"I-I .... I donno mommy."
"Neither do I kid, neither do I."

 And after Pazia left Aurelie snapped back to where she was.

Ugh this guy isn't leaving that Foosball table, think.... Aha!

"Ohh my back, oooh that hurts, Jayden can you come over here?"

 "Are you uh okay?"

 "Yes thanks, you're so sweet, but I would love a fruit shake. Can you make me one?"
"Oh okay yeah just sit there."

 "Now how do you make fruit shakes again?" Jayden mumbled to himself.

Oh he's so cute when he makes fruit shakes.

 But Aurelie's train of thoughts were interrupted by the baby coming.

"Eugh that is definitely not a fruit shake, time to start over."
"Oooooooooh AHHHHH! Forget the shake! The baby is coming! Get my mom!"

 And soon they were all at the hospital and even Pazia went.

 "Why do we have to wait for her," Pazia complained, "I'm tired."
"C'mon, we're being nice."

 "I think being nice is something you need to work on. I mean you and your sister have never gotten along but she hasn't done anything to you since she's been here right? She's cleaned the house and watched the kids and a lot of other things to help us out."

 "Could you at least try be nice to her? She's already having problems with family so I think she atleast deserves some support from you."

 "I guess you're right, I'll start by inviting her back into the house."

 "Great! Oh and here comes Aurelie."

 Okay okay, be nice, you can do that.

 "Congratulations! A boy! He's lovely!"

 "What's his name?"

 "Thanks. His name is Ja-"

Wait she's not about to say Jayden is she?

"Jason."

Phew

 "I was going to go with Jayden but that would have been weird."
"Yeah, very weird."

 And back home Aurelie went back to her usual tricks.

Oh great, he's on that laptop of his, maybe some drinks...

"I made drinks! You want one? You've been working so hard."

 "No thanks, I'll get some when I'm finished this chapter."

Ugh, time to think of something else.

 Hmmm I need to get him somewhere with less distractions. The cottage.. but how?

 Just as Jayden was about to finish the chapter he was on he heard Aurelie call him.
"Jayden! Jayden! Come here quick!" Aurelie called desperately.

 And he rushed to see why she had called him.

 "What's wrong? I heard you call me."

 "It's Jason, I don't know what's wrong with him. He keeps whining and crying."

 "Well I don't see anything wrong with him. I think he's just tired. C'mon little guy, let's get you into your crib."

 "There we go, nice and cosy."

 "Haven't you had kids before? Pazia told me you did."

 "Well yeah I did, but they're living with their dad and well..."

 "When you're lonely you forget things, and I'm lonely, very lonely." Aurelie said as she edged closer.

 "Uhm no Aurelie." Jayden said as he took a step back.

 And what she didn't know was that Pazia was lurking outside and heard everything.

What the hell? I come to invite her back inside and what do I see? She's hitting on Jayden! This has to stop...

What will Pazia do? Will Aurelie continue? What's going to happen next on the Fish Family Legacy?
