Chapter 15 ~ Seeing Triple

 Since finding out she was expecting, Pazia had been rather wary of her current situation and her mom seemed like the only person with the type of experience to soothe her.

 "Hey mom," Pazia started,"So this whole baby thing, it's making me quite nervous."
"Really? Well if it's making you so nervous why did you want kids in the beginning?" Annie questioned.

 "No no, I do want them but it's ... it's a complicated story."
"Oh I see."

 "It's just, I don't think I've got what it takes to raise a child. It sounds so hard."

 "Oh don't you worry about a thing, raising a child is a wonderful experience and you learn so much."

 "Plus you have me, your father and Jayden so you're not alone at all. And from what I see Jayden is more than prepared with all those books."

 "But I've got a little secret to share, hope for a girl."
"Haha why?"
"Because, I've had lovely girls like you and Aurelie, but boys are good too. I had a nice older brother Archie."

 "But away from that now, do you want me to check the gender of the baby?"
"Yeah sure!"

Fingers crossed it's a girl....

 "Okay, hmmmm, this ones actually a little harder than usual..."
"What? Is that bad? Is there something wrong?"

 "No don't worry, maybe it's just the old ears. It's just sending mixed signals, but it sounded more like a boy to me."
"Oh great thanks mom."

Oh great, a boy, not only that but a girly sounding boy...

Despite being pregnant Pazia still worked out a whole lot. She's one buff sim right now.

"Jayden, why are we dancing?" Pazia asked as she tried to not laugh at Jayden's fail at dancing.
"Because, the music is meant to help stimulate the baby's mind."
"But then won't just listening to the music have the same effect?"
"Hey where's the fun in that?"

But then I guess the baby was a little bit too stimulated and wanted to join the fun.

"Jayden, the baby is coming."
"WHAT? Are you serious?! Is it not just kicking?"
"NO!"
"OH MY GOSH THE BABY IS COMING AHHHHHHH! What am I supposed to do, don't panic, don't panic the baby books have taught you well."
"JUST GET ME TO THE HOSPITAL! NOW!"

And the rest of the night was kind of a daze to Pazia.

And as soon as she got home she drifted off to sleep.

What just happened? Everything is so blurry. I think I just had a baby. Was it a boy or girl?

And as she drifted deeper into dreamland she remembered placing a boy into the cot and some voices.

"We've hit a bit of an unexpected surprise, but don't worry it's not bad but we've put Pazia under sedation to minimise the stress. She might not remember most of this but we advise you to tell her slowly afterwards." A woman's voice spoke.

After her nap she went downstairs to have a bite, almost forgetting about the events of last night.

What a strange dream...It was almost...

But her thoughts were interrupted by laughter coming from upstairs.

And as she entered the nursery she saw Jayden playing with a baby boy.

"Is that our baby boy? Alford? Can I hold him?"

"Yes you can hold Cato. This is Cato."

"Cato? So you decided to use my boy name?"
"Uhm, yes but no. Oh right you don't remember!"

"Don't remember what? What do you mean yes but no? What's going on?"
"Just turn around and you'll know."

And just as she was turning around Annie spoke. "You want to see little Alfie? Here he is."

And there was a moment of silence as Pazia looked at her mother with another baby in her arms.

Huh? What the? How did she get him so quickly? Alfie? Alford? What?

And then she looked over Annie's shoulder and saw her dad holding another baby, a girl this time.

"Wha-What's going on? Why are there so many kids in here? Whose kids are these for?" Pazia demanded.

"This. Is so strange."
"Pazia honey, I'm not sure how to tell you this but, these are all your kids. You had triplets."

All my kids? And suddenly Pazia felt a little dizzy.
"Pazia darling? Pazia? PAZIA!?"

All my kids, all three. Three. One two three.

And once again she drifted into a dream. This time a scary one. There were three people, all Pazia, all scared. And there was crying drifting in from all directions...

THREE! I HAD THREE KIDS! How could this happen?

Hehe Ally is kinda cute, yeah drink your weird green milk.

And immediately Pazia formed a special bond with Ally and it was obvious that she was her favourite child.

"You know, these other kids are yours too, you should take care of them as well."

"Yeah yeah I will, later."

And later never came for Pazia because she coninued to play with Ally, leaving the boys to the rest of the family.

"And this Ally is a dumb show about kids in dinosaur suits."

And one day she recieved some mail with no return address, just a box and a note.

Let the next generation's imaginations run wild.

I think you can guess what they were. 

And soon it was the kids birthdays. First up was Cato.

Cute :) And his traits are Athletic and Friendly. He's the nice kid who doesn't cry a lot.

Next up was Ally.

You know she looks exactly like Pazia did when she was a toddler, just different hair. Her traits are Eccentric and Loner. She's ok but a bit of a pain sometimes.

And last up Alford, or as I like to call him, Alfie.

Nwaaw cute. He Loves the Outdoors and is a Genius. All that fish eating paid off.

And shortly after aging up the teaching began.

"Check out how smart she is, ok say Mama."

"Maaaaama! Mama mama!"
"Yes! There's my clever girl!?"

"Seriously? You think that's good. Wait till you see what Alfie can do. Ok can you say computer?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I ... I tired."

"Aww you see, so young and already he's shutting me down."

Okay Jayden you win this round.

But to Pazia Ally was always the best. It was almost like Ally was her only child.

She focused most of her time off work on Ally and left the other two to Jayden.

"Come here, yeah come here." Pazia cooed.

But unfortunately for Pazia there were some bad days.

And one particular day stood out from all the others. On this day Annie and Alec were attending a party and Jayden was away at a writers convention, leaving Pazia all alone with the toddlers.

And after a long fought battle Pazia finally got them all settled down but it was already very late at night.

And as she sat down to have a bite the doorbell rang.

Now who the hell can that be, it's not mom and dad because they're spending the night with aunt Annabeth, not Jayden because he's not back until tomorrow.

And as she looked outside a shiver ran down her spine.

No way.

"What do you want?"

What does Aurelie want? Will Pazia stop favouring Ally? Is this going to cause Pazia to freak out again. Is Aurelie going to cause trouble? What will happen next in the Fish Family Legacy?
